The new watch features a faster S9 chip for better performance, 4-core neural engine, and an 18-hour battery life. It also supports Apple Double Tap, a new gesture that can be used to answer/end a call, stop a timer, play/pause music, or dismiss an alarm. Apple Watch Ultra 2: was $799 now $779 @ Amazon The Apple Watch Ultra 2 sports plenty of big upgrades from its predecessor. Updates include a new S9 SiP processor with 5.6 billion transistors, 30% faster GPU, and 4-core neural engines that can power machine learning two times faster than Apple Watch Series 8. It also boasts a brighter (3,000 nits) display. It's a modest discount, but Amazon has it on sale for $779. Price check: $799 @ Best Buy
Apple Watch 8 (41mm/GPS): was $399 now $279 @ Best Buy The Apple Watch 8 sports a new skin temperature sensor to monitor sleep tracking and cycle tracking. It also comes with new advanced safety features like Crash Detection, which can sense when you've been in a car crash. In our Apple Watch 8 review, we called it the best smartwatch hands down. Smart Watch Real Apple Watch 8 (41mm/LTE): was $499 now $379 @ Best Buy If you need always-on connectivity, Amazon has the Apple Watch 8 with LTE on sale for $429. That's the one of the best prices we've seen for the LTE model. (It dropped to $389 last Black Friday and briefly hit $399 in June).
